Community By-Laws and Covenants
Sadler Woods Homeowners are bound by specific bylaws and covenants that help maintain community standards and harmony.
These are registered with the County of Henrico and all homeowners agreed to them when they joined our community.
For your reference, the bylaws and covenants are shown below. They are in PDF format. You can read them here or download them for reading later.
Sadler Woods Architectural Committee
In addition to complying with all local building codes and regulations, any changes to homes and property within the Sadler Woods community must be approved by the Sadler Woods Architectural Committee.
Why? To ensure changes maintain or enhance the overall aesthetic and value of the community.
But don’t worry — so long as the changes are reasonable the committee will approve them. (This is not one of those power trip HOAs.)
As soon as you have all relevant plans, permits, specifications, designs, and drawings, download and fill out the following form, then submit to the HOA email address. Follow any other instructions in the form.
Allow a minimum of one week for the Architectural Review of your application. You must receive the approval in writing or by email prior to beginning the work.
